The mission of City of Manassas Department of Public Works is to provide public services, capital projects, facilities and equipment, as established and assigned by the City Council and State, that contribute to the health, safety, and well-being of the community.

These include Building Maintenance, Buildings & Grounds, Cemeteries, Refuse & Recycling, Streets, Traffic Controls and Vehicle Maintenance.


Steven Burke, PE began his career with the City of Manassas in 2016.  He has more than 20 years of municipal experience, including Budget Management, Operations, Strategic Planning, Organizational development, Planning, Zoning, Public Relations, and more.
