Please be advised that City offices will be closed on Monday, September 7 in observance of Labor Day. Yard Waste service will follow a regular schedule. Please set your yard waste out at the curb on Sunday night for collection on Monday.
Beginning August 1, 2020 – the City will schedule all bulk waste/large item collections for the Thursday trash and recycling route on Wednesdays.
Example: If someone calls the Trashline to schedule a sofa for collection – and their regular collection day is on Thursday – this item will now be scheduled for collection on Wednesday.
This measure will reduce the volume of bulk waste/ large items left out at the curb outside the collection period, encourage residents to call and schedule their items for collection, and support our contractor now working with a reduced staff due to ongoing issues stemming from outbreaks of COVID-19.
Please call the Trashline on (703) 257-8252 during regular office hours to schedule bulk waste/large item collections.
All residents and property owners are responsible for making sure that they follow City guidelines for trash and recycling collection. Do your part to help keep Manassas safe, clean and beautiful.
