Director Mike Moon
The public works and utilities director reports to the city manager and serves as the staff liaison to the City’s Utility Commission. The director provides administrative oversight of the operations of the City’s water, sewer, electric, and public works departments within the City. The director prepares and monitors both the capital improvements program and the operating budgets for the department, and assures adequate fund balances are maintained in the utilities and solid waste budgets by recommending annually the appropriate rates for these funds. Mr. Moon has over 28 years of combined local and state government experience.
